Wash and slice the squash into ½-inch rounds. Try to keep them even for consistent cooking.

Combine parmesan, garlic, olive oil, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix well.

Gently coat each squash round with the parmesan mixture. Don’t overload!

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake squash rounds on a baking sheet for 20-25 minutes, or until tender.

Sprinkle breadcrumbs over squash during the last 5 minutes of baking for extra crunch.
