→ Main Ingredients

01 - 2 (2-inch thick) steaks (Ribeye, New York Strip, or Sirloin)
02 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
03 - 4 tablespoons butter

→ Seasonings & Spices

04 - Garlic powder
05 - Salt
06 - Black pepper
07 - Rosemary sprigs (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Pat the steaks dry and season generously with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
02 - Preheat your Blackstone griddle to medium-high heat. It should be screaming hot!
03 - Add olive oil to the griddle. Sear steaks for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare. Don’t move them around too much!
04 - Add butter and rosemary (if using) to the griddle. Baste the steaks with the melted butter.
05 - Continue cooking to your desired doneness, basting occasionally. Use a meat thermometer!
06 - Remove steaks and let them rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.

# Notes:

01 - Don't overcrowd the griddle. Give your steaks space to sear properly.
02 - Store leftover steaks in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently.
03 - Thyme works great instead of rosemary.
04 - Serve with roasted vegetables, a simple salad, or creamy mashed potatoes.
