# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 lb Pasta
02 - 1/2 cup Butter
03 - 6-8 cloves Garlic
04 - 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese

→ Seasonings & Spices

05 - Salt
06 - Black Pepper
07 - Red Pepper Flakes (optional)

→ Optional Extras

09 - White Wine
10 - Chicken Broth
11 - Lemon Juice

# Instructions:

01 - Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package directions, until al dente. Drain the pasta, reserving about 1/2 cup of the pasta water.
02 - While the pasta is cooking, melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for about a minute, or until fragrant. Don't let it brown!
03 - Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the garlic butter. Toss to coat. If the sauce is too thick, add a little bit of the reserved pasta water.
04 - Stir in the parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add red pepper flakes if desired.
05 - Serve the pasta immediately. Garnish with extra parmesan cheese and a sprinkle of fresh parsley if you like.
06 - Find a cozy spot and savor every delicious bite!

# Notes:

01 - Don't overcook the pasta! Al dente is key.
02 - Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
03 - I've tried using Pecorino Romano cheese – it adds a sharper flavor.
04 - Serve with a simple side salad or crusty bread.
