Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear. This removes excess starch, preventing sticking.

Melt butter in a saucepan. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant (about 30 seconds). Don't burn it!

Stir in rinsed rice, cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Pour in hot broth.

Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover, and simmer 15 minutes, or until liquid is absorbed.
