# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
02 - 6-8 cloves garlic, minced
03 - 1/4 cup dry white wine (or chicken broth)
04 - 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

→ Seasonings & Spices

05 - Salt
06 - Black pepper
07 - Red pepper flakes (optional)

→ Garnish & Toppings

08 - Lemon wedges

→ Optional Extras

09 - Parmesan cheese

# Instructions:

01 - In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Watch it carefully so it doesn't burn. Once melted, it'll start to foam.
02 - Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant. Don't let it brown!
03 - Pour in the white wine (or chicken broth) and let it simmer for a minute or two, until it reduces slightly.
04 - Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley and lemon juice. It should look vibrant!
05 - Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add red pepper flakes if desired. Taste and adjust as needed!
06 - Serve immediately over your favorite dish! I've even put it on toast.

# Notes:

01 - Don't overcrowd the pan when sautéing garlic to prevent burning.
02 - Store leftover sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
03 - Chicken broth makes a surprisingly good substitute for white wine.
04 - Serve over pasta, steak, roasted vegetables, or even mashed potatoes!
