02 - 1/2 cup bourbon
03 - 1/4 cup soy sauce
04 - 2 tablespoons brown sugar

→ Seasonings & Spices

08 - Chopped green onions
09 - Sesame seeds (optional)

→ Optional Extras

10 - Steamed rice
11 - Noodles

# Instructions:

01 - In a bowl, whisk together bourbon, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil. Add chicken and marinate for at least 30 minutes (or overnight!).
02 - Preheat your Blackstone griddle to medium-high heat. Make sure it’s nice and hot before adding chicken!
03 - Remove chicken from marinade and sear on the hot griddle for 3-4 minutes per side, until nicely browned.
04 - In a small bowl, whisk together cornstarch and 2 tablespoons of water. Pour remaining marinade into a saucepan, bring to a simmer, and whisk in cornstarch slurry until thickened.
05 - Add seared chicken to the sauce and simmer for a few minutes until cooked through.
06 - Serve immediately over rice or noodles. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds (optional).

# Notes:

01 - Don't overcrowd the griddle when searing the chicken; work in batches if needed.
02 - Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stovetop.
03 - Maple syrup can be used as a substitute for brown sugar in a pinch.
04 - Serve with steamed rice, noodles, and your favorite veggies for a complete meal.
