Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Combine flour, ½ cup sugar, and salt. Cut in cold butter until crumbly. Press half into a greased 9x13 pan.

Toss cherries with ¼ cup sugar and lemon juice. This is so important!

Combine remaining flour, sugar, oats, cinnamon, and salt. Cut in butter until crumbly. Don't overmix!

Spread cherry filling over crust. Sprinkle crumble topping over cherries. Make sure to cover them completely.

Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly. Keep an eye on it; they burn fast!

Let cool completely before cutting. This is the hardest part… but so worth it!
