# Ingredients:

01 - 1 loaf crusty bread
02 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter
03 - 1/2 cup minced fresh garlic

06 - 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

# Instructions:

01 - Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat. Add minced garlic, olive oil, parsley, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
02 - Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice bread about 1/2 inch thick.
03 - Generously brush both sides of each bread slice with garlic butter.
04 - Place bread on a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
05 - If using, sprinkle parmesan cheese on during the last 2 minutes of baking.
06 - Remove from oven, cool slightly, and serve warm.
