Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish. Don't forget this step!

In a large bowl, gently toss the sliced peaches with 1 cup sugar and ½ tsp salt. Let sit for 10 minutes to release juices.

In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Cut in cold butter until crumbly. Stir in milk until just combined.

Pour peaches into prepared dish. Spoon topping evenly over peaches. Sprinkle with extra cinnamon if desired.

Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly. Check at 40 minutes!
