Boil water in a large pot. Add salt (don't forget!). Add the pasta and cook until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water.

Wash and chop the romaine lettuce. Halve the cherry tomatoes. Easy peasy!

If making homemade croutons, cube bread, toss with olive oil and seasonings, and bake until golden brown.

In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, lettuce, tomatoes, croutons, and parmesan cheese.

Pour the Caesar dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine. Don't over-toss!

Serve immediately or chill for later. Garnish with extra parmesan and a sprinkle of black pepper.
