Pat the pork chops dry and season generously with salt, pepper, and paprika. Mince the garlic and sprinkle it over the chops.

Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the pork chops for 3-4 minutes per side, until browned.

Sprinkle brown sugar over the pork chops. Pour in the chicken broth, almost covering the bottom of the pan.

Transfer the skillet to a preheated oven (375°F) and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
