# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 cup unsalted butter
02 - 4-6 cloves fresh garlic
03 - 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

→ Seasonings & Spices

04 - 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
05 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

→ Optional Extras

06 - 1 tablespoon lemon juice

# Instructions:

01 - Take your butter out of the fridge about 30 minutes before starting. You want it soft enough to easily mash with a fork but not melted.
02 - Mince that garlic! Fine mince is key for even distribution. I use a garlic press, but a sharp knife works great too.
03 - In a medium bowl, mash the softened butter with a fork. Stir in the minced garlic, chopped parsley, thyme, and lemon juice. Season generously with salt and pepper.
04 - Mix everything until it's evenly combined. I like to use a spatula to really get in there and make sure every bit of butter is infused with flavor.
05 - If you want to shape your butter, chill it in the fridge for about 30 minutes to firm up. This helps when you want to slice it easily.
06 - Serve immediately with your favorite steak, chicken, or vegetables. Seriously, this is the best part! The melted butter is incredible.

# Notes:

01 - Don't over-mix the butter! Over-mixing can make it oily.
02 - Store the leftover garlic herb butter in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
03 - Dried herbs will work in a pinch, but use about 1/3 of the amount called for.
04 - Serve with crusty bread for dipping!
