Take your butter out of the fridge about 30 minutes before starting. You want it soft enough to easily mash with a fork but not melted.

Mince that garlic! Fine mince is key for even distribution. I use a garlic press, but a sharp knife works great too.

In a medium bowl, mash the softened butter with a fork. Stir in the minced garlic, chopped parsley, thyme, and lemon juice. Season generously with salt and pepper.

Mix everything until it's evenly combined. I like to use a spatula to really get in there and make sure every bit of butter is infused with flavor.

If you want to shape your butter, chill it in the fridge for about 30 minutes to firm up. This helps when you want to slice it easily.

Serve immediately with your favorite steak, chicken, or vegetables. Seriously, this is the best part! The melted butter is incredible.
